As Students' Union President and an international graduate, I believe the proposed reduction of the Graduate Route Visa from 2 years to 18 months is unfair to current and future international students. International students contribute enormously to Wrexham University, our local community, and the UK economy. Many spend years studying, volunteering, working, and building their lives here. Reducing the time available to secure graduate employment creates additional barriers at the very point they are trying to begin their careers. I have written directly to our MP, Andrew Ranger, regarding this issue. I am now asking for your support.
