By registering for and participating in the Come Walk with Me 5K, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in a 5K walk/run involves physical activity and may include risks such as falls, injuries, dehydration, adverse weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Health and Fitness: I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event and understand that I am responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for my health and fitness level.
Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless the Come Walk with Me 5K organizers, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and affiliated organizations from claims or liabilities arising from my participation in the event, including claims involving ordinary negligence, except where such release is prohibited by law.
Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, I authorize event personnel to seek appropriate medical assistance on my behalf if I am unable to provide consent. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
Photography and Media Consent: I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the event and grant permission for my image or likeness to be used in event-related promotional materials, social media, and future communications without compensation.
Acknowledgment and Agreement: By completing my registration and selecting the agreement checkbox, I confirm that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver.
