The Eco Exploration Day program is designed to introduce youth to the vital role technology and engineering play in modern food production and sustainable farming.
Throughout this interactive full-day workshop, participants will step into the boots of agricultural engineers to solve real-world farm challenges. Working in collaborative teams, students will build smart soil-moisture sensors, code automated irrigation systems, and analyze digital crop data to optimize harvest health. By directly connecting hands-on building, programming, and creative design with everyday farming tasks, participants will develop valuable problem-solving skills and discover how high-tech tools make agriculture smarter, more efficient, and more resilient.
This welcoming space connects participants with encouraging role models and like-minded peers who foster a sense of belonging while inspiring youth to explore and pursue future pathways in STEM and programming.
Spots are limited to 30 participants. If you have multiple children, please complete this form for each child you wish to register. Because there are limited spots available, please only register if you intend to attend all sessions.
