By registering for and participating in Sit Pretty Canine’s Halloween Group Class, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release

 I understand that participating in a group dog training event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to dog bites, scratches, injuries, dog fights, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents. I voluntarily assume these risks and accept responsibility for myself, my dog, and any guests accompanying me.

 To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release and hold harmless Sit Pretty Canine, its owners, employees, trainers, and representatives from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in this event, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

 

2. Dog Behavior & Handler Responsibility

 I understand that I am responsible for maintaining control of my dog throughout the entire event. I agree to follow all instructions provided by Sit Pretty Canine trainers and acknowledge that any dog displaying unsafe, aggressive, or excessively disruptive behavior may be asked to leave at the trainer’s discretion.

 

3. No On-Leash Greetings & Respecting Space

 For the safety and comfort of all participants, on-leash greetings between dogs are STRICTLY prohibited. I agree to maintain appropriate distance between my dog and other dogs and handlers at all times. I will not allow my dog to approach, crowd, or interact with another dog without explicit permission from a trainer.

 

4. Leash Requirements

 All dogs must remain properly leashed (6 ft leash or shorter) and under control throughout the event unless otherwise instructed by a Sit Pretty Canine trainer. Retractable leashes are not permitted.

 

5. Clean-Up Responsibility

 I agree to immediately clean up after my dog and properly dispose of all waste. I understand that maintaining a clean and safe training environment is my responsibility as a participant.

 

6. Photo & Video Release

 I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during this event for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes, including use on Sit Pretty Canine’s social media platforms, website, and advertisements.

 I grant Sit Pretty Canine permission to photograph and record myself and my dog and to use, edit, reproduce, and publish these materials without additional notice or financial compensation, unless I decline consent below.

 

7. Right to Refuse Participation

 Sit Pretty Canine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation for any dog or handler who fails to follow event rules, disregards trainer instructions, or presents a potential safety concern to others.

 

Acknowledgment & Agreement

 By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined above. I understand that participation in this event is at my own risk and that I am responsible for my dog’s behavior and actions.
