    Join us for a Chat with an Expert session focused on one of the most important skills for any golf professional: Customer Relations. Whether interacting with members, guests, tournament participants, or prospective members, Golf Professionals are constantly responsible for building relationships and delivering exceptional experiences. This session is designed to give PGA Associates an opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from two experienced professionals about how they approach customer service, communication, relationship building, and challenging interactions.

  • Matt Newman, PGA – Director of Golf, The Minikahda Club

    Matt brings extensive experience in private club golf operations, with previous stops including Windsong Farm Golf Club, Broken Sound Club, and Medina Golf & Country Club. His career provides perspective on developing long-term member relationships, understanding expectations, leading a service-focused team, and creating a golf operation centered around the member experience.

    Michael Foley, PGA – Head Golf Professional, Somerset Country Club

    As Head Golf Professional at Somerset Country Club, Michael brings another experienced perspective on building relationships with members and guests while creating a welcoming and service-oriented golf operation.
