• Canyon Oasis Farmers Market

    January 20, 2026 | Vendor Application
  • Thank you for your interest in joining the Canyon Oasis Farmers Market in St. George, Utah!

This market was created to celebrate and strengthen our local food community by giving growers, bakers, and makers of handcrafted artisanal goods a welcoming place to share their work.

We have put careful thought and preparation into every detail so vendors can feel confident from day one. We have secured a strong location, planned clear logistics, and built a promotion strategy designed to bring steady foot traffic. Our focus is on consistently running a well-organized, professional event that gives both vendors and shoppers a positive experience.

    Market dates:

    Wednesday, December 16 from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm
    Wednesday, January 20 from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm

    Located at:

    JC Snow Park, 275 E 900 S, St. George, UT 84770

We plan to continue the market monthly throughout the new year. On the application, you may select one or both of the above dates.

JC Snow Park sits right in the heart of the downtown St. George area, surrounded by neighborhoods, local businesses, and steady foot traffic. Its convenient location makes it easy for both residents and visitors already exploring the area to stop by, which helps create a natural flow of shoppers.

To bring customers to the market, we will actively promote each date through targeted social media posts, local community groups, email updates, partnerships with nearby businesses, and clear on-site signage. Our goal is to build consistent awareness so more people know about the market and make it part of their regular routine.

  • Vendor Type & Requirements

  • Farmer $30 Booth Fee

Fruit grown outside Utah within a 350-mile radius of St. George is accepted during fall and winter, and may be considered selectively in summer.

Any produce that can be grown in Utah is not eligible for resale (citrus from within the radius is allowed; carrots grown outside Utah are not).

Vendors working in partnership with farmers to harvest and sell produce may do so under this guideline.

  • Artisan $55 Booth Fee

Resale is strictly prohibited. All products must be made or produced by the applying vendor.

Mass-produced items or multi-level marketing booths are prohibited.

Categories are carefully managed to ensure variety and avoid oversaturation. Exceptions may be granted when products show meaningful differences in style or technique.

  • Food Handlers & Cottage Kitchen $55 Booth Fee

Under Utah’s Home Consumption Act (HB 181), a cottage kitchen permit is not required.

Products must still be labeled with:

    - Your name and address
    - A statement that the product is not for resale and was made without state or local inspection
    - Any common allergens present (or a note if prepared in a kitchen that handles them)

All items must be fully packaged at home. No packaging or assembly is allowed at the market.

To prepare or package food on-site, you need a temporary food permit, commercial kitchen license, or cottage kitchen license from the Southern Utah Health Department.

Anyone preparing food or offering samples must have a hand-washing station. Sampling also requires a permit from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF).

Categories are carefully managed to ensure variety and avoid oversaturation. Exceptions may be granted when products show meaningful differences in style or technique.

  • Food Truck $65 Fee

Trucks must pass a fire safety inspection based on Utah Fire Prevention Board criteria (including a Type I hood and suppression system if producing grease vapors).

A state-approved inspection sticker must be displayed inside the rearmost door of the vehicle.

Food trucks must maintain a minimum distance of 10 feet from one another to ensure safe access, proper airflow, and clear pedestrian pathways throughout the market.

  • Non-Profit $30 Booth Fee

If you are a Non-Profit, we will need a copy of your 501(c)3

Charitable organizations are not required to register or file annual solicitations with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection

  • All vendors will receive a temporary business license valid only for Canyon Oasis Farmers Market dates.

Vendors are responsible for tracking sales and paying taxes to the Utah State Tax Commission

  • Vendor Policies & Agreement

    Canyon Oasis Farmers Market
  • PRODUCT APPROVAL

I understand that all products I offer for sale must be pre-approved by Market Staff through this application process. I may not sell any items that are not listed on my application and approved in advance. I understand that the sale of resale items is not permitted.

    ATTENDANCE & PAYMENT
I understand that payment is due according to the terms provided at booking. Once my application is accepted, my payment is non-refundable. If I do not show up, my payment will be forfeited entirely. If I am unable to attend, I must notify the organizer in writing at least 5 weeks in advance of the market date. Failure to give at least 5 weeks’ notice and failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the full booth fee. Documented emergencies may be considered at the Market’s sole discretion; acceptance of an application does not create any right to a refund.

    BOOTH SPACES
I understand that Canyon Oasis Farmers Market will provide a 10'x10' booth space. I am responsible for supplying all necessary equipment, including tent, tables, chairs, weights, and any other items for my booth. Electricity is not provided. Generators are not allowed unless pre-approved in writing by the Market Manager.
    I agree to:
    - Use a white 10'x10' tent with straight legs, properly secured with weights of at least 40 lbs per leg.
    - Keep my booth area clean and organized at all times.
    - Not extend my booth into walkways or block paths or visibility.
    - Not display large flags with advertisements or branding within my booth area.

I will have my booth set up prior to market opening and will not dismantle until the market has officially ended. I will not be allowed to set up if I arrive after the market opens, and I am not allowed to leave early without Market Staff approval. Failure to comply with setup and tear-down times, as well as the restriction on advertising flags, may result in exclusion from future markets.

    ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
I understand that it is a privilege for vendors to drive near their booths to load and unload and that this privilege may be revoked. I will follow the load-in route, check-in location, and time window provided by Market Staff for that event. I must check in with Market Staff before setting up and arrive within my assigned time frame. I may only enter the market area with permission. I will not move traffic barriers, cones, or fencing. I will park to unload as directed by Market Staff, stay within the designated driving lane, unload everything from my vehicle, and then move the vehicle before setting up my booth. I will have no more than 10 minutes to unload and move my vehicle, and no more than 10 minutes to load after the market. I will not begin setup before the vehicle is moved. I must arrive at least 20 minutes before market opening unless a different staggered load-in time is assigned.

    VENDOR PARKING
I understand that I and any staff or helpers related to my booth must park only in the designated vendor parking areas identified by Market Staff for that event (including any park lots, overflow lots, or street parking specifically authorized for vendors).

    LEGAL LIABILITIES
I understand that I am responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws that apply to my products and operations. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance, including a City of St. George (or applicable Washington County) business license and, if I sell food, a Southwest Utah Public Health Department (SWUPHD) permit and/or any required Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) registration. I agree to submit any required documentation (e.g., Business License, SWUPHD permit, UDAF registration) to the Market Manager upon request. I understand that I must maintain copies of these documents at my booth for inspection. I assume full responsibility for the products I sell and market. Canyon Oasis Farmers Market, The Charrutti Organization LLC / Charrutti Events, its employees, sponsors, the venue, and affiliates will be held harmless against any claims of injury, damage, or liability resulting from the use, consumption, or display of my products. I indemnify the Market and agree to defend them against any related claims.

    DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute or disagreement related to market policies, penalties, or other matters, I agree to attempt to resolve the issue through mediation before pursuing any legal action.

    INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
I understand that Canyon Oasis Farmers Market highly recommends that I maintain appropriate general liability insurance for my booth and products. This insurance should cover claims arising from my activities at the market. If I obtain insurance, I will add Canyon Oasis Farmers Market / The Charrutti Organization LLC as an additional insured and attach a copy of my certificate to my application or account. If I opt not to purchase insurance, I understand that the Market’s insurance does not cover me against any personal product complaints, liabilities, or damages related to my booth or products.
