COLLECTIBLE is a unique fair dedicated to 21st century contemporary and collectible design. This 3rd New York edition wil be held from 5 to 8 November 2026 at 210 EAST 86TH ST, a former movie theater in the heart of the Upper East Side. Bringing together galleries and design studios from around the world, COLLECTIBLE offers a curated perspective on the most relevant developments in contemporary design today.
This is a volunteer, unpaid position, with lunch provided during each shift. Volunteering at COLLECTIBLE offers a unique opportunity to experience the fair from the inside, work alongside our international team, and meet and engage with leading galleries, designers, curators, colectors and other professionals from across the contemporary design industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Front Desk/ Guides / Set up volunteers for COLLECTIBLE Fair.
We are currently looking for highly motivated and dedicated volunteers willing to join us!
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
- Visitor and VIP assistance: tickets control, reception, public welcoming and general fair assistance. (4 to 8 November)
- Guides: a guideline for the highlights & exhibitors will be provided
- Assistance during set-up (2 to 4 November) and/or dismantling (8 & 9 November).
- Exhibition opening (5 November): we will need assistance to welcome all participants, guests and visitors during the vernissage (ticket control, coat-check, general set-up)
REQUIREMENTS
- No particular educational or experience level is required as we are mainly looking for dynamic open-minded and motivated volunteers able to demonstrate autonomy and team spirit during those few days. We strongly believe in a collaborative approach by working closely with artists, curator and collectors. For this reason, we would like to work with volunteers who fit this state of mind.
- No degree required, but a background in cultural, arts or design education is appreciated.
- Previous experience in the cultural field is a plus.
