  • “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
    — Margaret Mead

Deep Bay has recently been protected, safeguarding its mature forests, salmon streams and diverse shoreline. Now, we’re helping restore the former homestead so it can regenerate into a healthy forest. With the building removed, the work will include  planting native trees and other vegetation, spreading mulch and installing deer fencing to protect the new plants. The Comox Valley Land Trust is partnering again with WolfTree, following our work together at qax mot, with Tal Engel leading the volunteer restoration day on Sunday, October 25.
