St. Johns County Continuum of Care Lived Experience Advisory Council Application

The Lived Experience Advisory Council (LEAC) is an opportunity for individuals with current or past experience of homelessness to help shape the policies, programs, and services of the Continuum of Care (CoC). The Council provides a meaningful way for people with lived expertise to share their perspectives, identify gaps in services, and recommend improvements that better meet the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The CoC recognizes that those who have directly experienced homelessness bring valuable knowledge and insight that cannot be gained through professional experience alone. Members of the Lived Experience Advisory Council will work alongside community partners and CoC leadership to ensure that planning, funding decisions, and system improvements are informed by the voices of people who have firsthand experience navigating homelessness and housing resources. We encourage applications from individuals with experience in sheltered homelessness, unsheltered homelessness, or both, and from diverse backgrounds and communities throughout St. Johns County.
