  • Year 11 and 12 students at a Bass Coast Shire school (Bass Coast College or Newhaven College) can enter ONE original artwork depicting the Giant Kelp forests being regenerated at Phillip Island. Up to 20 artworks will be selected.

    Please read these dates carefully:

    • Applications: close 5 pm, 31 January 2027. 
    • Announcements: 5 February 2027.
    • Artwork due: Monday 15 to Sunday 21 February, 11 am to 3 pm daily, ArtSpace Wonthaggi, 1 Bent St Wonthaggi.
    • Exhibition open: Monday 22 February to Saturday 10 April, 11 am to 3 pm daily.
    • Launch event & awards: Sunday 28 February, 1 to 3 pm, all welcome.
    • Artwork collection: Monday 12 to Sunday 18 April, 11 am to 3 pm daily, ArtSpace Wonthaggi.
    • Note: any artwork sold is subject to standard 25% commission to ArtSpace on sale.
