CWL BRAND WORKS, LLC – CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MERCHANDISE POLICY & WAIVER
1. DECORATION RISK & MACHINE PERFORMANCE: Commercial apparel decoration (embroidery, DTF printing, heat press) involves mechanical high-speed needles, high tension, and heat application. While CWL Brand Works exercises the utmost professional care, mechanical snags, needle deflections, fabric scorching, or hoop/press impressions can occasionally occur.
2. BRAND-NEW CUSTOMER-PROVIDED BLANKS & EXTRA BUFFER REQUIREMENT: For customers supplying their own brand-new blanks, items must be delivered in unwashed condition with sizing tags intact:
- Bulk Spoilage Allowance: Apparel decorating carries an industry-standard production spoilage rate of up to 2–3% (with a minimum of 1 garment on smaller runs).
- Required Extra Blanks for Exact Counts: If your team, school, or organization requires an exact finished headcount (e.g., full rosters, specific sizes per player/staff), the Customer is required to provide extra blank garments (1–2 extra pieces per size group/run) at drop-off.
- Unused Blanks: Any supplied extra blanks that are not needed during production will be returned unprinted to the Customer upon order completion.
- Liability Limit for Blanks: CWL Brand Works does not manufacture or retail customer-provided items and is NOT liable for replacing or reimbursing the purchase price of spoiled blanks. If an item is damaged and no extra blank was provided, our liability is strictly limited to crediting or refunding the decoration labor fee for that unit.
3. PRE-OWNED, VINTAGE & SENTIMENTAL PIECES: We accept clean personal outerwear, pre-owned items, and sentimental jackets subject to the following rules: Cleanliness: Items must be freshly laundered, dry, and completely free of pet hair, perfumes, smoke, and fabric softener residues. Inherent Material Risk: Aged or worn fabrics possess fiber fatigue and behave unpredictably under commercial needles and heat. The Customer assumes all risk regarding the sentimental, market, or vintage value of irreplaceable items.
4. REJECTION OF UNSUITABLE MATERIALS: CWL Brand Works reserves the right to decline items deemed unsuitable or hazardous to commercial equipment (e.g., heat-intolerant synthetics, brittle aged leathers, or heavy seams/linings that obstruct hooping).
