Owl Banding Program 10/23: Sign-up and permissions

North Branch Nature Center Owl Banding:

Please complete one form for each child. We will meet at the North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier at 8pm and stay until 9:30 for a night of owl Banding with North Branch naturalists. Students will learn about the migration patterns of saw whet Owls and tracking methods that naturalists use to monitor their populations. This is a special and unique experience and I hope everyone can make it!

I understand fully that even after responsible precautions have been taken, field trip activities may involve hazards for which Pacem School and parent volunteers cannot be held responsible. I understand that hiking, camping, attending public events and transportation in motor vehicles all carry the risk of personal injury, permanent loss or even death. In the event that my child/dependent becomes ill or injured during the field trip briefly described above, I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify Pacem School, its affiliated organizations and sponsors, their employees and associated personnel, and all parent volunteers against any claim by or on behalf of myself or mychild/dependent as a result of the registrant's participation in the fieldtrip.
