The floater role may not require active work for the entire shift, but requires the floater to be "on call" for a half-day shift. This means you will be in the building for the duration of your 4-hour shift after checking in, and attentive to text/phone communications from the volunteer coordinator. You may be asked to fill any role on short notice during your shift.

If you are interested in helping hang posters around the Boston area for MICE, or receiving a package of flyers or postcards to advertise in your area, consider joining the team!
All volunteers must attend one of three volunteer orientation sessions that will occur in the weeks leading up to MICE. If you are unable to attend one of the dates, you must speak with Olivia Li, the Volunteer Coordinator, to arrange an alternative.

We are guests at Boston University and must respect their property and their facilities. If you are found by a staff member to be acting inappropriately towards exhibitors, attendees, volunteers, or the facilities, you will be asked to leave.
