Privacy collection notice: Rowing SA collects the personal information in this form to assess your expression of interest for a 2027 State Team role, verify your eligibility (including your Working with Children Check and coaching accreditation), contact your referees and, if you are appointed, administer your role. Your application will be seen by Rowing SA staff, the Coach/Selector Selection Panel (CSSP) and, where relevant, the Rowing SA Board and the Selection Ombudsman. If a selection decision is appealed, relevant information may be provided to the Independent Appeals Tribunal. Rowing SA handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Conflict of interest
Conflicts of interest are common in South Australian rowing and most can be managed. Coaching at a club, school or SASI, or being a Head of Rowing, Director of Rowing or Teacher in Charge, is permitted provided it is disclosed.

You cannot hold a Selector or coaching role if you are trialling, or intending to trial, as an athlete for a State Team, or if you are a sponsor of a prospective athlete. A family or personal relationship with an athlete trialling for a program prevents you from being a Selector or CSSP member for that program, and must be disclosed and managed by abstention for coaching roles.

If a conflict arises after you apply, you must tell the Rowing SA CEO as soon as possible. See the Conflict of Interest Policy.
