Become a 2027 Temple Mother Earth Community Facilitator

  • Temple Mother Earth is a sanctuary of higher consciousness based in Washington, DC. When we use the word Temple, we are not referring to traditional or denominational religion. We are referring to the sacred space within each person, the place connected to the Creator, the Divine, God, Source, or whatever language an individual uses to understand what is greater than themselves.

We are a non-denominational community rooted in personal growth, healing, spiritual connection, sovereignty, and strengthening the relationship each person has with the God within. For 2027, we are seeking DMV area facilitators, teachers, practitioners, coaches, and service providers who feel called to bring their work into the Temple.

We ask for your contact information first so our Executive Director, Comfort Prescott, can reach you personally as you move through the process, and so you never lose your progress if you need to step away.

  • Thank you for saying yes.

Thank you for trusting us with your gifts, your story, and the work you were born to do. It takes courage to step forward and say: I want to hold space for others. We see that courage, and we honor it.

You are not filling out a form. You are coming home to a family of practitioners, teachers, and healers who believe that transformation happens in circle, not in isolation. Every offering you bring becomes part of someone's healing. Every room you hold becomes sanctuary.

We will read every word you share. We will hold your application with the same care you hold your people. And we are so grateful you found your way to us.

    Welcome home,

    Temple Mother Earth

    Your Offering

  • Partnership Terms

Please read through our partnership terms below. Take your time with this. These are the foundations we are building on together.

  • What We Mean By Partnership

We are looking for people interested in developing an ongoing relationship with Temple Mother Earth and its community. As a Community Facilitator, you bring your expertise, offering, and community. Temple Mother Earth provides an established Washington, DC space where that offering can be experienced.

Depending on the partnership, the Temple may also support the visibility of your offering through our existing community, calendar, marketing channels, and other promotional opportunities.

The goal is mutual expansion: You gain a consistent physical home for your work and access to a broader community. The Temple expands the resources available to its community, keeps the sanctuary active, introduces new people to the space, and develops a financially sustainable calendar of programming. A healthy partnership should support both.

    Financial Structure

We recognize that every offering does not operate under the same model. Some facilitators provide free or low-cost community services. For others, their practice is their livelihood. For paid programming, partnerships may be structured as either a flat space fee or a percentage of revenue generated by the offering.

The appropriate structure will be discussed individually based on the type of offering, frequency, capacity, pricing, space requirements, and level of support being provided by Temple Mother Earth.

Free and community-based programming will be considered separately. Specific financial terms will be agreed upon in writing before a facilitator begins hosting at the Temple.

Consistency Is Part of the Partnership

One of the things we are intentionally building in 2027 is consistency. When something appears on the Temple calendar, our community needs to be able to trust that it is happening. For that reason, scheduled offerings are expected to take place whether you have one registered guest, a full room, or no advance registrations.

Temple Mother Earth receives members and walk-in guests who may discover an offering through the Temple rather than through the individual facilitator.

Repeatedly canceling an event because advance registration is low creates inconsistency for the community and makes it difficult for both the facilitator and Temple to build trust around the offering. If you commit to a date on the Temple calendar, we ask that you commit to holding the space.

Of course, genuine emergencies happen. Those situations can be addressed individually. What we are looking for is a shared commitment to reliability.

This Is Not a Sacramental Facilitator Application

Temple Mother Earth is also home to sacred ceremonial and sacramental practices. This Community Facilitator Partnership is separate from the Temple's sacramental facilitator pathway. Acceptance into this program does not authorize a Community Facilitator to provide, introduce, distribute, administer, recommend, or incorporate sacrament, psychedelic substances, entheogens, cannabis, controlled substances, intoxicants, or other psychoactive medicines into an offering hosted at Temple Mother Earth.

Any use of substances or sacramental practices on Temple property requires specific prior written authorization from Temple Mother Earth. Introducing or distributing an unauthorized substance during a Community Facilitator offering may result in immediate termination of the partnership, removal from Temple Mother Earth property, permanent ineligibility to facilitate at the Temple, and additional action where appropriate.

If your work specifically involves sacramental facilitation, that requires a separate application, screening, training, and approval process.

    Age Requirement

This facilitator program and the offerings hosted through it are intended for adults 21 years of age and older, unless Temple Mother Earth has specifically approved an exception for a particular community program in writing.

    Our 2027 Commitment

The initial Community Facilitator partnerships are being developed for the first quarter of 2027: January through March. However, we are also open to facilitators who are prepared to begin sooner.

Some partnerships may be appropriate for weekly programming, biweekly programming, monthly programming, multi-week classes or cohorts, workshops, support groups, private client sessions, community gatherings, or special events. We are interested in discovering the rhythm that makes the most sense for your work and for the Temple community.

    The Selection Process

We want both the Temple and the facilitator to have an opportunity to experience the partnership before making a longer commitment.

Step 1: Complete this form and tell us about yourself, your offering, who you serve, and the community you have built around your work.

Step 2: If we believe your offering may be a fit, we will invite you to a conversation with the Temple team. This gives us an opportunity to learn more about your work, discuss expectations, answer questions, and explore what a partnership could look like.

Step 3: Selected applicants will be invited to facilitate a small trial experience for a group of Temple members. We want to experience how you hold space, not simply read about it on an application. This also gives you an opportunity to experience the Temple, our community, and how it feels to facilitate within the space.

Step 4: If both parties believe there is alignment following the trial, we will discuss scheduling, financial terms, responsibilities, marketing, and any additional requirements specific to your offering. A written agreement will then be created for an agreed-upon term. At the conclusion of that term, both parties can decide whether and how the partnership should continue.

    Before You Apply

This partnership may be a good fit if: you have an established skill, modality, service, class, workshop, or offering that you are already prepared to facilitate; you are interested in building an ongoing presence rather than simply renting a room for a one-time event; you understand that building community takes consistency; you are willing to market your offering to your own audience while allowing Temple Mother Earth to introduce the offering to ours; you are prepared to honor dates you commit to; you respect the spiritual nature of Temple Mother Earth even if your own offering is not religious or spiritual; you understand that Community Facilitator status does not authorize sacramental or psychoactive medicine work within the Temple; and most importantly, you understand that partnership means bringing something to the relationship as well as receiving something from it.

If that sounds aligned with the work you are already doing, we would love to learn more about you.
