I’d really like to hear what matters to you. This survey is a simple, open-ended place to share your thoughts, concerns, experiences and ideas about some of the issues facing Cortes. Most of the questions give you space to answer in your own words, so please say as much or as little as you like. With your permission, I will make the responses available to whoever is elected Regional Director so that the input collected here can continue to be useful after the election.You will also have the option to allow your responses to be included anonymously in a public summary report. Your name and identifying information will not be included in that report.

Short-term Rentals
Cortes is currently subject to B.C.’s principal-residence requirement for short-term rentals. Beginning in 2027, the SRD can request to have Area B removed from that requirement. What is your view on the current short-term rental rules, and how have they affected you?
