The Scholarships

An anonymous person from DFW area donated $45,000 to fund three (3), needs-based scholarships qualified, Principal-nominated applicants who are Kennedale High School Class of 2027 graduates. Scholarship applications are due Friday, November 6, 2025.

Need-Based Scholarships Information

Three (3) $15,000 scholarships will be awarded to two Kennedale High School Class of 2027 graduate who plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university, have a letter of recommendation from the campus Principal, and demonstrates financial, family, and/or personal need.

Minimum Criteria

Applicants must:

- Be a Kennedale High School (TX) senior (grade 12),

- Must be a 4-year graduate in the Class of 2027,

- Must attend a 2-year or 4-year, accredited college or university and enroll in Summer/Fall 2027,

- Have a cummulative GPA greater than or equal to a 3.25,

- Submit an academic resume featuring the following:
1. Basic Biographical Information,
2. Participation in Extracurricular/Co-Curricular Activities,
3. Leadership Positions,
4. Volunteer/Community Service,
5. Awards/Recognitions,
6. Relevant Work Experience, and
7. Certifications Held,
- Submit a updated Kennedale High School transcript with their application,

- Submit at least three (3) letters of recommendation from (at least two from educators),

- Complete all required essays, and

- Submit a competed and signed application.
