1. Pray 2 optional units of prayer with the intention of istikharah🧎🏽‍♂️

2. After completing the 2 units of prayer and reciting the tasleem:

 

 🤲🏽 Raise your hands and recite the du’aa below. Mention the specific decision that you are going ahead with where you see [❗️].

 

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ، وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ 

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الأَمْرَ [❗️]- خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي- فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ 

وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ [❗️] شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي- فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ

 

Allaahumma 'innee 'astakheeruka bi'ilmika, wa 'astaqdiruka biqudratika, wa 'as'aluka min fadhlikal-'Adheemi, fa'innaka taqdiru wa laa 'aqdiru, wa ta'lamu, wa laa 'a'lamu, wa 'Anta 'Allaamul-Ghuyoobi,

Allaahumma 'in kunta ta'lamu 'anna haathal-'amra ([❗️] then mention the thing to be decided) Khayrun lee fee deenee wa ma'aashee wa 'aaqibati 'amree - Faqdurhu lee wa yassirhu lee thumma baarik lee feehi,

wa 'in kunta ta'lamu 'anna haathal-'amra ([❗️]then mention the thing to be decided) sharrun lee fee deenee wa ma'aashee wa 'aaqibati 'amree - Fasrifhu 'annee wasrifnee 'anhu waqdur liyal-khayra haythu kaana thumma 'ardhinee bihi 

 

O Allah, I seek guidance from You through Your infinite knowledge, and I seek ability from You through Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. For You are most definitely fully capable while I am completely incapable, and You know everything while I do not know anything, and You (alone) are the complete Knower of all things that are hidden.

O Allah, based on Your all-encompassing knowledge, if You know that this matter ([❗️]thing to be decided) is good for me in my religious affairs, my worldly affairs, and in my hereafter, in my short term and my long term, then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me.

O Allah, based on Your all-encompassing knowledge, if You know that this matter ([❗️]thing to be decided) is bad for me in my religious affairs, my worldly affairs, and in my hereafter, in my short term and my long term, then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is good wherever it may be, then make me pleased with it.
