1. Introduction
1.1 These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern your enrollment in and participation in Open City's Golden Key Academy programme (the "Programme").
1.2 By enrolling in the Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To be eligible to enroll in the Programme, you must:
2.1.1 Be at least 18 years of age on the date of enrollment;
2.1.2 Possess a strong interest in architecture, heritage, landscape and urban issues;
2.1.3 Have a passion for storytelling and sharing knowledge with others;
2.1.4 Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
2.1.5 Be able to commit to the full eight-month Programme;
2.1.6 Be able to participate in all mandatory aspects of the Programme, including attendance at classes, workshops, and events, and the completion of the final assessment tour during Open House Festival
3. Enrollment
3.1 Enrollment in the Programme is subject to availability and Open City's approval of your application.
3.2 To apply for enrollment in the Programme, you must complete an application form and provide all required information, including a personal statement and a sample tour outline and produce a one and a half minute video tour.
3.3 Upon receipt of your application, Open City will review your application and contact you to either accept or reject your application.
4. Fees
4.1 The full Programme fee is £800.
4.2 The Programme fee is payable in full upon enrollment unless agreed otherwise
4.3 No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the enrollment deadline.
5. Cancellation
5.1 Open City reserves the right to cancel the programme at any time, at its sole discretion.
5.2 In the event of cancellation, Open City will provide a pro rata refund of the programme fee to enrolled students.
6. Attendance
6.1 Attendance at Golden Key Academy classes, workshops, and events on the dates provided by the Golden Key Academy is mandatory.
6.2 If you are unable to attend a class, workshop or event due to unforeseen circumstances, you must notify the Golden Key Academy in advance and provide a reason for your absence.
6.3 Excessive absences may result in your removal from the programme.
7. Mentoring
7.1 Each candidate will be provided with a set number of hours of mentoring both in small groups and individually set out to you by your mentor.
7.2 Candidates are expected to attend all individual and group sessions as coordinated within your mentor group.
7.3 Candidates must ensure that they have prepared material as agreed for each session.
8. Conduct
8.1 You must conduct yourself in a professional, respectful and ethical manner at all times.
8.2 You must not engage in any behaviour that is disruptive, offensive, or discriminatory to others.
8.3 You must respect the intellectual property rights of others and refrain from plagiarism or misrepresentation of sources.
8.4 Open City reserves the right to remove you from the programme if you breach any of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Assessments
9.1 You will be required to complete a final assessment tour during the Open House Festival.
9.2 You must deliver a final assessment tour during the Open House Festival to successfully complete the Programme.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All intellectual property rights in the Programme materials, including lecture notes, handouts, and other resources, belong to Open City.
10.2 You are not permitted to copy, distribute, or otherwise exploit any of the Programme materials without the prior written consent of Open City.
11. Data Protection
11.1 Open City will collect and use your personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.

12. General
12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.3 Open City may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
12.4 Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon publication.
12.5 You are responsible for ensuring that you are familiar with the latest version of these Terms and Conditions.
