ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that participating in the Escape the In-Laws Car Show involves risks of possible personal injury, and property damage, including but not limited to risks from moving vehicles, vehicle display and movement, crowds, weather conditions, uneven surfaces and conditions of the premises and surrounding area. I understand that my vehicle, my passengers, and my personal property may be damaged, lost, or stolen. I freely and voluntarily choose to participate in the event and assume all such risks.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Escape the In-Laws Car Show, I hereby release and discharge Mericle’s Towing LLC, its owner, members, managers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, vendors, and affiliates(collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, which I, my heirs, or assigns may have arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the event, my presence on or about the event premises, or my vehicle’s participation in the show, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct of a Released Party.
INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) my actions or omissions; (b) my vehicle; or (c) any breach of this waiver by me.
INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR VEHICLE
I certify that I carry valid automobile liability insurance on the vehicle listed above and that my driver’s license is current and in good standing. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for my vehicle, my passengers, and my personal property at all times, and that the Released Parties do not provide insurance coverage for my vehicle or property.
EVENT RULES
I agree to comply with all event rules and all instructions from Mericle’s Towing LLC staff and volunteers, including but not limited to obeying speed limits and traffic flow, no burnouts or reckless driving, using only designated display and parking areas, following staging and departure directions, and complying with all applicable laws. I understand that violation of event rules or instructions may result in my immediate removal from the event without refund.
MEDICAL TREATMENT
I authorize the Released Parties to secure emergency medical care for me if deemed necessary and agree that I am responsible for any related costs.
PHOTO/MEDIA RELEASE (MANDATORY)
I grant Mericle’s Towing LLC permission to photograph, record, and otherwise capture images and/or video of me and my vehicle at the event and to use such images in any media for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.
I understand that by submitting this registration for entry to Escape the In-Laws Car Show, I am agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.
