ISNA Canada invites you to celebrate Islamic Heritage Month by discovering the beauty of Islamic art and creating something meaningful with your own hands at our Woodburning Workshop, happening on Saturday, October 31.
In collaboration with Myra's Art Studio, you'll learn the basics of woodburning, a therapeutic art form dating back to medieval times. Participants will use heat and locally sourced wood to bring their own design to life with the help of a experienced artist.
This workshop is part of a series in which ISNA Canada partners with local artists to bring hands-on Islamic art experiences to communities across the country. To learn more about our Islamic Heritage Month programming, visit isnacanada.com/ihm.
