ISNA Canada invites you to celebrate Islamic Heritage Month by discovering the beauty of Islamic art and creating something meaningful with your own hands at our Turkish Water Marbling (Ebru) Workshop, happening on Sunday, October 25.
Step into the world of Ebru, the traditional Turkish art of marbling. After a brief introduction to its history and cultural significance, you'll watch a demonstration of traditional techniques, then create your own marbled artwork with step-by-step guidance, exploring vibrant patterns of colour, water, and movement and discovering the calming, meditative nature of this centuries-old art form.
This workshop is part of a series in which ISNA Canada partners with local artists to bring hands-on Islamic art experiences to communities across the country. To learn more about our Islamic Heritage Month programming, visit isnacanada.com/ihm.
