• STPI in Kyoto | Workshop: Across Borders: Nengajō Print Exchange

  • Create a personalised nengajō (Japanese New Year greeting card) in a hands-on relief printing workshop led by Kyoto City University of Arts students and STPI.

    Explore textured compositions on STPI handmade paper by layering printed motifs inspired by Singapore and Kyoto, and add a personal touch by carving your own unique designs on linoleum blocks.

    This printmaking activity reflects the long history of cultural exchange between Japan and Singapore, and their shared innovations in print and paper.
