Many contain personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, birthdates, adoption details, and family information, so access is restricted under privacy and adoption laws.Who can access whatPublic and educational use: StoryScope Studio provides redacted or anonymized copies.Verified adoptees and families: you may request individualized access through this form.We review every request case by case, so that sensitive data is handled ethically and protected.Our missionWe preserve and share these records responsibly, balancing the right to know with the right to privacy, so adoptees and families can reconnect with their origins in a way that is both healing and historically meaningful.What to expectPlease allow 2-3 weeks for a response. File deliveries are made quarterly or depending on schedule.
