NTVS Youth Application: Gathering Our Voices (GOV) 2027

Youth Ages 24 and Under
NTVS is selecting THREE (3) youth delegates to travel as a cohort to Victoria, BC March 15-18, 2027. In alignment with host guidelines, priority will be given to Nisga'a youth with diverse abilities (physical, neurodivergent, developmental, or intellectual).

Travel Notice: Selected youth will travel independently as a group from Vancouver and at least one (1) designated chaperone between the age of 19-24. The chaperone must be able to provide a criminal records check.

Applicants must be comfortable navigating group travel and event schedules independently.

Diverse Abilities & Priority Access Questions for Youth

Gathering Our Voices 2027 places priority focus on youth with diverse abilities. Do you identify as a person living with a disability or diverse ability including but not limited to physical, neurodivergent, developmental, learning, or mental health condictions?
The cohort will be accompanied by one chaperone rather than individual family members, delegates must be independent in their self-care. With reasonable baseline adjustments at the venue, are you comfortable navigating ferry travel, meals, and attending workshops within a group setting?
