  • ENTRY FEE, BAKED GOODS & PEOPLE’S CHOICE PARTICIPATION

ENTRY FEE, BAKED GOODS & PEOPLE’S CHOICE PARTICIPATION. Entry Fee: A $5 entry fee is required for each bake-off entry and is due after registering. You will be redirected after submitting this form to the payment page. Participants are responsible for completing the required registration and paying the entry fee before participating in the bake-off. Participation in the People's Choice portion is included in the $5 fee for that entry, with no additional fee required. Each additional bake-off entry requires a separate $5 entry fee. Baked Goods Requirement: Participants must prepare and bring two of the same baked item if they wish to participate in the People’s Choice portion of the bake-off. One baked item for display and judging: The first item will be displayed for presentation and evaluated by the official judges, if applicable, according to the bake-off’s judging procedures. One baked item for public sampling and People’s Choice voting: The second item will be used for attendees to sample and vote on their favorite entry for the People’s Choice Award. Both items should be the same recipe and type of baked good so that the displayed entry and the public sampling entry represent the same submission. Participants are responsible for preparing, transporting, and presenting their baked goods in a safe and sanitary manner. Participants should clearly identify any ingredients that may cause allergic reactions and follow all event instructions regarding food handling, serving sizes, sampling, and presentation. By registering for the bake-off and participating in People’s Choice voting, I acknowledge that I understand and agree to the $5 entry fee and the requirement to provide two of the same baked items: one for display and judging and one for public sampling and People’s Choice voting.
