Autumn Ramble Car Show Registration Form

All participants must agree to follow these rules to help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful event for everyone. 1. Registration and Entry Fee. A $20 car show entry fee is due after registering. You will be redirected after submitting this form to the payment page. Participants are responsible for completing the required registration and paying the entry fee before participating in the car show. Vehicle placement and participation are subject to organizer approval and available space. 2. Vehicle Eligibility and Acceptance. The Autumn Ramble Car Show is not limited exclusively to antique vehicles. A variety of vehicle types, makes, models, styles, and years may be considered. However, registration does not guarantee acceptance. Event organizers reserve the right to determine vehicle eligibility, placement, and participation based on space, event logistics, safety, and the overall needs of the event. 3. Check-In and Vehicle Placement. Participants must follow the check-in instructions and directions provided by event organizers. Vehicles must be parked in the assigned area and remain in their designated spaces during the event unless an organizer authorizes movement or an emergency requires it. 4. Safe Vehicle Operation. All vehicles must be operated safely and responsibly. Reckless driving, speeding, burnouts, unnecessary revving, racing, dangerous maneuvers, or any other unsafe operation of a vehicle are strictly prohibited. Participants must exercise extreme caution around pedestrians, children, spectators, other vehicles, and event personnel. 5. Vehicle Movement During the Event. Once a vehicle is parked in its designated show area, participants should not move it during the event without permission from an event organizer, except when necessary to address an emergency or immediate safety concern. Participants must follow all instructions regarding vehicle entry, exit, and movement. 6. Good Sportsmanship and Respectful Conduct. All participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, courtesy, and respect toward fellow vehicle owners, spectators, event staff, volunteers, vendors, and members of the public. Harassment, threatening behavior, arguments, intimidation, discrimination, disruptive conduct, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. 7. Respect for Vehicles and Property. Participants must respect other people’s vehicles, personal belongings, event equipment, and property. Do not touch, lean on, enter, or handle another participant’s vehicle or belongings without permission. Participants are responsible for damage they cause to another person’s property, to the extent provided by applicable law. 8. Children and Spectators. Participants are responsible for helping ensure that children and anyone accompanying them behave safely and respectfully around all vehicles. Children and spectators must not climb on, enter, or play around vehicles without the owner’s permission. Participants must follow any safety instructions issued by event personnel. 9. Cleanliness and Environmental Responsibility. Participants must keep their display areas reasonably clean and dispose of trash properly. Any spills, leaks, or other vehicle-related hazards must be reported to an event organizer promptly. Participants must not dump oil, fuel, coolant, or other automotive fluids onto the ground or into drains. 10. Vehicle Condition and Required Documentation. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are in a condition appropriate for display and that they comply with applicable laws and requirements. Participants who operate their vehicles on public roads are responsible for maintaining any legally required registration, driver’s license, and insurance. 11. Awards and Recognition. A People’s Choice Award is planned for the car show. Voting procedures, ballot collection, voting deadlines, and the announcement of results will be communicated by event organizers. Additional award categories may be offered if qualified judges are available. Possible categories may include Best in Show, Best Classic, Best Modern, Best Truck, Best Paint, and Best Interior. The availability and final selection of any additional categories are at the discretion of event organizers and are not guaranteed. Participants are expected to accept voting results and any award decisions respectfully. Unsportsmanlike conduct, attempts to interfere with voting, or pressure placed on spectators, other participants, or organizers will not be tolerated. 12. Event Organizer Authority. Event organizers reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules, provide instructions, adjust vehicle placement, modify event procedures, or remove a participant from the event when reasonably necessary for safety, rule enforcement, or event operations. A participant who refuses to follow safety instructions or engages in serious misconduct may be required to leave the event. 13. Event Changes or Cancellation. Event activities, schedules, award categories, and participation arrangements may change because of weather, safety concerns, availability of judges or volunteers, venue requirements, or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control. Event organizers will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes when possible. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVERPLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. 1. Acknowledgment of Risks. I understand that participation in, attendance at, or displaying a vehicle at a car show involves certain risks. These may include, but are not limited to, vehicle movement, contact with other vehicles or objects, slips and falls, uneven or slippery surfaces, exposure to weather, property damage, personal injury, and the actions or omissions of other participants or attendees. I voluntarily choose to participate in the Autumn Ramble Car Show and knowingly assume the risks ordinarily associated with my participation, including risks that are known or reasonably foreseeable, to the extent permitted by applicable law. 2. Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and agree not to hold liable the Autumn Ramble event organizers, event sponsors, volunteers, staff, agents, and the property or venue owners or operators, together with their respective representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”), for claims for personal injury, death, property damage, loss, or other harm arising out of or relating to my participation in or attendance at the car show, including claims arising from ordinary negligence where such a release is legally enforceable. This release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived, including any liability arising from gross negligence, reckless conduct, intentional misconduct, or other conduct for which a release is prohibited by applicable law. 3. PERSONAL PROPERTY, VEHICLE RESPONSIBILITY & RELEASE OF CLAIMS. I understand and acknowledge that my decision to enter the property where Autumn Ramble is held, display a vehicle, participate in the car show, attend event activities, or otherwise take part in the event is voluntary and is undertaken at my own risk. I understand that entering the event property and participating in the event may expose me, my vehicle, my passengers, and my personal belongings to risks, including but not limited to vehicle damage, theft, vandalism, fire, weather-related damage, falling objects, collisions, contact with other vehicles or persons, slips and falls, property damage, bodily injury, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable incidents. I accept responsibility for my vehicle, its operation, its contents, my personal belongings, and the conduct of myself and anyone under my supervision. I understand that the event organizers do not provide insurance coverage for my vehicle or personal belongings and that I am responsible for maintaining any insurance coverage I consider necessary. I voluntarily assume the risks associated with entering the event property and participating in or attending Autumn Ramble and the car show. I hereby release, waive, and discharge Autumn Ramble, its event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, staff, agents, representatives, and the owners and operators of the event venue (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to my entry onto the event property, my participation in or attendance at the event, my vehicle’s presence at the event, or the loss of, theft of, or damage to my vehicle or personal belongings, including claims based on ordinary negligence to the extent such claims may legally be released. I agree that I will not bring, initiate, maintain, or pursue a lawsuit or other legal claim against any Released Party for any matter covered by this release. This agreement applies to claims for personal injury, property damage, vehicle damage, theft, loss, expenses, or other harm arising from the risks covered by this agreement, whether the incident occurs before, during, or in connection with my participation in the event. I understand that the Released Parties do not guarantee the safety or security of my vehicle, my personal belongings, or the event property. I accept responsibility for taking reasonable precautions to protect myself and my property and for obtaining any insurance coverage I believe is appropriate. I further understand that I remain responsible for damage, injury, or loss that I cause to another person, vehicle, or property through my negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct. 4. Vehicle Insurance and Operation. I am responsible for ensuring that my vehicle has any insurance, registration, inspection, and other documentation required by law for its intended use. I understand that participation in the car show does not transfer responsibility for my vehicle to the event organizers. I agree to operate my vehicle safely, follow all applicable laws, and comply with event rules and instructions. 5. Responsibility for My Conduct and Damage Caused. I agree to act responsibly and to take reasonable precautions to protect myself and others. I understand that I may be held responsible for injury or property damage caused by my negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct, or by the unsafe operation of my vehicle. 6. Medical Emergencies. I understand that event organizers and volunteers are not necessarily medical professionals and may not have medical services available on site. If an emergency occurs, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency services when reasonably necessary. I understand that I remain responsible for my own medical expenses, except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law. 7. Compliance With Rules and Instructions. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that I must follow all applicable event rules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from event organizers. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the car show or event without a guarantee of a refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law and any stated refund policy. 8. Photography and Publicity. I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during Autumn Ramble. I grant permission for photographs or video of me and my displayed vehicle, captured in connection with the event, to be used by the event organizers for event-related publicity, promotional materials, websites, and social media without compensation. I understand that this permission concerns ordinary event photography and does not authorize the use of my name or image in a misleading or defamatory manner. I may contact event organizers before the event to discuss any reasonable privacy concerns or revoke photo/video permissions. 9. Understanding and Voluntary Agreement. I confirm that I have read this liability waiver, understand its general purpose, and have had the opportunity to ask questions before signing. I understand that this document includes an assumption of risk and a release of certain legal claims to the extent permitted by applicable law. I am signing voluntarily and understand that I may seek independent legal advice before signing. By signing below, I acknowledge and agree that: I have read and agree to all Autumn Rumble Car Show Rules, Participation Requirements, and the Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver above. I understand that the car show entry fee is $20 and is due prior to the event. I understand that a People’s Choice Award is planned and that additional award categories may be offered if judges are available. I agree to follow event rules, act with good sportsmanship, respect other participants and property, and follow safety instructions. By entering the event property, registering a vehicle, or participating in the Autumn Ramble Car Show, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the rules, assumption of risk provisions, and liability waiver contained in this agreement. I understand that I am voluntarily choosing to enter the property and participate in the event, that I have had the opportunity to ask questions about this agreement, and that I agree to its terms as a condition of participation. I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and legally able to sign this agreement on my own behalf. If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian must complete the section below.
