2027 Lucky Dog Laguna Seca Event Lottery

Lady Luck has paid off for Season 13 and we're headed to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for "Hair of the Dawg" again, but a week later than usual, on January 23-24, 2027. In past years we have relied upon the "TicketMaster" process for teams to snap up the highly coveted & limited 45 entries (for last year's event we had 232 teams on the waitlist; this is a highly sought after event). But based on your suggestions, we continue to use a Lottery method described below.

HOW THIS WILL WORK:

Only the Team Captain is required to submit your car in this lottery, completing & submitting the form below. No need (or an advantage) for teams/drivers to submit their car multiple times (those duplicate entries will be deleted from the lottery; only the car that is entered/gets selected will be accepted; no swaping out cars or selling accepted entries). LAGUNA LOTTERY IS NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSION AND WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY, October 25, 2026 @ 11:59PM PDT.
ONLY ONE CAR PER TEAM, INITIALLY: The initial lottery is for one entry per team; however, on the form below you can indicate if you wish to bring a 2nd car (this will be included in a 2nd lottery to be pulled once all 1st round teams have had a chance to pay their entire entries in full by the FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6, 2026 11:59PM PST DEADLINE in order to retain their entry AND any Wait List has been cleared).
CONFIRMED TEAMS (along with garage rental guidance) will be notified no later than TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2026 @ 6:00PM via email.
CONFIRMED TEAM PAYMENTS IN FULL: Full team entry payment of $3,600 (unlimited drivers) must be made no later than FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2026 by MIDNIGHT PST via registration in the Raceday system, BY ENTERING YOUR CAR & ALL DRIVER ENTRY PAYMENTS. All drivers must be registered in advance (i.e., the entire team paid in full) no later than FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2026 in order to not PUT YOUR ENTRY AT RISK OF CANCELLATION.
PATIENTLY WAITING DAWGS: Have faith, in previous years we have cleared as many as 30+ teams as the lottery process continues. You will be notified the moment you clear the ongoing lottery selection process, via email. There is no need to contact Charlene/Registration daily :)
REFUND POLICY: Unless we can fill you entry with a waitlisted team, LDRL's standard refund policy applies as outlined in our Rulebook, Section 5. Any questions, please contact Registration@RaceLucky.com. And in the spirit of the series, if you can't make the event, we'll help you fill your entry. Selling or gifting of Laguna entries is not allowed.

2nd CAR ENTRIES: Once we have cleared the initial lottery, we will continue conducting a lottery for those teams that are asking to bring additional cars. Do you wish to bring a 2nd car?

GARAGES: Are you interested in renting a track garage for the weekend (limited to qty 20 garages) for $700?

I understand that if I attempt to register in Lucky Dog Racing League's Raceday registration system WITHOUT being a Confirmed Lottery Team/Driver, Lucky Dog is unable to refund Raceday's 3% +$5 transaction fee.

PAYMENT DEADLINES: I understand if I am a lottery winner, Full team entry payment of $3,600 must be made no later than FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6,2026 by MIDNIGHT PDT via registration in the Raceday system, BY ENTERING YOUR CAR & ALL DRIVER ENTRY PAYMENTS. Non-compliance on the part of the team/drivers PUTS YOUR ENTRY AT RISK OF CANCELLATION.

REFUND POLICY: I understand that if my team is unable to attend this Laguna Seca event following confirmation via Raceday Registration, I must contact Registration@RaceLucky.com ASAP. Laguna Seca entries are not transferrable to another team; we must first offer entries to teams still waiting in the lottery pool. Full refunds are only offered if we are able to sell your entry to another team. If that is not possible, Lucky Dog's customary Refund policy as outlined in Rules will apply (i.e., teams will receive a 50% race entry credit towards a future event, which never expires).
