Please note - HT means TVA needs to be added to this figure at the specified rate. TTC means all TVA is included. Most of my work is renovation/replacement of old so is rated at 10% TVA and not 20% however it is obligatory that you acknowledge the legal mention - « Le client atteste que les travaux se rapportent à des locaux à usage d'habitation achevés depuis plus de deux ans et sont éligibles au taux de TVA de 10 % en application de l'article 279-0 bis du Code général des impôts. »

Devis - Each devis I send is valid for one month from the date issued. After this date I reserve the right to amend the price of this devis if accepted outside of this timeframe.

Deposit - Upon acceptance of the devis it is necessary to secure each part accepted with a deposit of 25%, this is non refundable and secures the contract and an approximate start timeframe. If I need to cancel for whatever reason the deposit will be fully refunded.

Two weeks before commencement of manufacture - Or before if I need to place an order I will ask for an additional 25% down payment. In some cases this deposit will be higher than 25% if the materials are more expensive.

The remaining 50% - This will be due as weekly stage / progress payments divided by me across the duration, some weeks maybe higher if i feel the value of works carried out warrants it. Any delays in payments will delay progress.

The balance payment - this will be part of the above 50% to a value determined by me (Usually 10% but often 5%) Once this is paid guarantees and future support becomes available. The above payment process can be discussed beforehand and a personalised payment schedule made before acceptance and mutually agreed in writing. All payment requests are due for payment within 5 days for an interim and balance payment, 7 days for the initial deposit to allow for banking delays in adding a new beneficiary. Any failure to make and complete any requested payment may invalidate any warranty and or guarantee offered and will cause delays or may cause works to terminate from being continued and or completed.

Timelines, communication & realistic expectations - Any timelines I may mention during a site visit or in an initial provisional devis are approximate only and may differ considerably — for example, if another client accepts their devis before you accept yours. All timeframes must be in writing, verbal timeframes can not be referred to. Once a devis is accepted and signed, I will endeavour to work within the proposed timeframe. However, please understand that all our work is made to order and lead times can vary depending on several factors, including current workload, timely completion of previous jobs, job complexity, and material availability. Materials such as wood, glass, and hardware are ordered from suppliers who have their own lead times. For example, glass sizes can only be confirmed once a door or window has been built, at which point the glass can then be ordered. Typically, lead times for wood, glass and hardware are around one week, but they can be longer due to supplier delays, seasonal holidays, or unexpected demand. We aim to complete most projects within the discussed timeframe following confirmation and deposit. However, this is always an estimate — not a fixed deadline. Because each piece is custom-made, timelines may occasionally shift slightly. We believe in clear communication and will keep you updated throughout your project but only when we have relevant information to share. Any client side timing constraints must be expressed in writing (In the box below) before booking and mutually agreed. Guarantee -I have public liability insurance & decennale insurance for works that are covered by this type of insurance. Please ask for a copy or contact my insurance company to check if your required works are covered by this type of insurance. All works have a one year guarantee against faulty craftsmanship but does not include problems caused by adverse weather conditions, excessive heat, cold, humidity, misuse or vandalism. When I provide the materials I will honour the manufacturers guarantee and source and change the item if faulty. If you provide the item but I install, you will need to arrange a replacement and I will install at a reduced labour rate. Any problems that may arise will be dealt with in good time but at my timescale to insure and protect the financial security of my enterprise. Maintaining a civil manner at all times by all parties will guarantee best results, I will not accept any rudeness or unreasonable behaviour.
