    We’re looking for outgoing, upbeat people with the patience and enthusiasm to make creating fun for our guests.

    Working at The Pottery Stop is like working in a “creativity restaurant.” Shifts are hospitality and customer-focused: welcoming and instructing guests, hosting birthday parties and groups of all ages (especially kids’ parties on weekends), cleaning tables and materials, checking out guests, and packaging pottery.

    Staff do not create art during their shifts, and art experience is NOT necessary.

    Regular weekend and “prime shift” availability is required from all staff. Prime shifts are Thurs PM (event nights), Fri PM, Sat, and Sun. All applicants should be available for a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per month, including 4 Sat or Sun shifts.

    Candidates with flexible weekend availability (Fri evenings, open Sat/Sun) are prioritized. Candidates with no evening or weekend availability will not be considered.

    All applicants should be 18+.

    Employment with The Pottery Stop is contingent on the results of a background check, which will be conducted for finalist candidates in accordance with applicable law.

  • Standard Studio Hours 2026:

    Mon - Wed: 10 am to 8 pm

    Thurs - Sat: 10 am to 9 pm

    Sunday: 10 am to 6:00pm

    Note: Sunday hours are 10am to 7pm in November and December

    Hours are occasionally later for special events/classes on Thurs-Sat. Shifts may be 6-8 hours and may begin or end one to two hours outside of studio opening/closing times.

    Quarterly staff meetings are held on Sunday mornings. These are mandatory for all staff. Additionally, Studio Leads may meet with management monthly.
