Small Group Will Workshop - optional add-on

Limited to 8 places, each for an individual or couple

Work with legal experts to review your family circumstances, assets, nationality, choice of law and succession objectives, with the aim of preparing your own will. Participants can complete a confidential questionnaire in advance so that their circumstances can be reviewed before the session.

This is not another presentation. It is a working session.

 

 Meet the Speakers

The seminar draws on firsthand experience preparing wills for international clients and handling inheritances involving Italian and foreign wills. This perspective connects planning decisions with the practical issues families face when those plans need to be put into effect.

 

Avv. Nick Metta Partner, Studio Legale Metta An Italian lawyer since 2000, Nick heads Studio Legale Metta’s International Department and holds a PhD in Tax Law. He advises international clients on wills, cross-border inheritance, estate planning, and Italian taxes, combining experience in preparing estate plans with handling the inheritance process afterward.

Avv. Raffaella Cuomo Senior Associate, Studio Legale Metta An Italian lawyer since 2009, Raffaella is a Senior Associate at Studio Legale Metta, focusing on international real estate and cross-border estate planning. She brings more than seventeen years of combined experience working in notary offices and advising international clients, giving her practical insight into the formalities and decisions involved in planning for Italian assets.

• A small-group session with three estate lawyers assisting a maximum of eight families.
• A questionnaire to complete beforehand, so the lawyers can review their circumstances and wishes in advance.
• Personalized legal guidance focused on their situation.
• For suitable cases, a personalized set of will clauses, arranged in order, with instructions for completing and handwriting their will at home.
• For more complex situations, specific recommendations and actionable next steps to move their estate planning forward.
• Time to discuss their questions directly with a lawyer.
