Steel Academy Details

The Steel Academy provides a structured athlete development pathway designed to support the progression of emerging volleyball talent across Western Australia.

The Academy offers three development tiers:

Foundations: Developing core technical skills, movement capabilities and game understanding.

Development: Building technical consistency, tactical awareness and the ability to perform in increasingly challenging environments.

Performance: Supporting athletes demonstrating advanced capabilities and a commitment to progressing towards higher levels of representative volleyball.

The Academy incorporates both indoor and beach volleyball, with an emphasis on long-term athlete development, quality coaching and preparation for future opportunities within the WA performance pathway.

Submitting an EOI does not guarantee placement. Athletes may be invited to attend trials or further assessments to determine the most appropriate development environment.
