Preparing for the Holidays: Navigating Difficult Dynamics

The holidays can be a difficult time for a variety of reasons. From travel stress to navigating family dynamics to the political climate, there are many things that we and our clients have to maneuver. We will go over how to discuss concerns with clients to preparing your practice to take time off, if you are doing so. This training is targeted for newer clinicians but could be a beneficial reflection for those with more experience in the field. This will be live and interactive via discussion on zoom but there is an option to register to receive a private link to a recording.

Maeve Raphelson, LCSW, has been providing therapy in community mental health and private practice settings for over thirteen years. She focuses her clinical work on trauma, depression, and life changes. She is passionate about local politics and views her social work vocation as both micro-level (one-on-one therapy) and macro-level (creating systemic change).

Attendees who engage in this training will receive an evaluation, which will generate their CE certificate.
