By registering to volunteer for Operation Iron Ruck, hosted by Operation Iron Ruck Foundation (OIRF), I acknowledge that volunteer activities may include driving or riding in support vehicles, transporting participants and supplies, preparing, providing, handling, or serving food and beverages, loading and unloading equipment, assisting with event logistics, and other related support activities. I understand these activities involve inherent risks, including vehicle accidents, injury, illness, food-related illness or allergic reactions, weather conditions, physical exertion, and other unforeseen hazards.

I agree to follow all event safety instructions, applicable traffic laws, food safety and sanitation requirements, and directions from OIRF event leadership. If serving as a driver, I certify that I possess a valid driver's license, am legally authorized and qualified to operate the assigned vehicle, and will comply with all applicable vehicle and insurance requirements. If preparing, donating, or serving food, I agree to follow appropriate food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices.

I voluntarily assume the risks associated with my volunteer activities and, to the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law, release, waive, and hold harmless Operation Iron Ruck Foundation, its Board of Directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, property providers, and event affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising from my participation, including claims involving ordinary negligence, except where prohibited by law.
