Tita was born in the Philippines, November of 2017. It migrated to Toronto in 2019. Tita was originally made from white flour and now thriving with local organic whole grains as its daily diet.
This is a 1-hour birthday celebration (2 days) of our liquid starter. Due to the small space of our microbakery, we will be limiting the event to 8 people. You do not have to be a baker to join this event.
We do not charge any fee for you to RSVP. All we ask is that you bring a loaf of sourdough or dips or jams (that you made). We encourage you to bring your starter as well to mingle with other starters and bakers.
Espresso-based and tea beverages will be available upon purchase as well as pastries and breads from the retail.
Timeline of Event:
- 11AM-11:10AM- Welcoming the guests.
- 11:15AM-11:30AM- Eating breads. Mingle with other guests.
- 11:45AM- Sing "Happy Birthday to Tita"
- 12NN- Birthday Celebration Finished
Note: Feel free to stay after the birthday party. We will operate our normal retail so expect other people coming in during the party.
