2026-2027 BASKETBALL UPDATE

There will be a few changes to the age groups and rules from last season. The new age groups are as listed below. We will go over rules in a coaches meeting before practices start.

Pre-K/Kinder- 27.5" ball on 8'6" goal for Boys & Girls
1st/2nd Grade- 27.5" ball on 8'6" goal for Boys & Girls
3rd/4th Grade- 27.5" ball on 10'0" goal for Girls/ 28.5" ball on 10'0" goal for boys
5th/6th Grade- 28.5" ball on 10'0" goal for Girls/ 29.5" ball on 10'0" goal for boys

PAYMENT UPDATES

Registration fees will be $50 per player this year.

Thanks to a large donation from Mueller, Inc., the IYAA has been able to lower the cost of registration fees this year from $100 to $50 per player! Thank you Mueller, Inc.!!!

This season the IYAA will accept Afterpay as a form of payment. Afterpay is a "buy now, pay later" service that allows customers to split purchases into four equal installments, with the first payment due at the time of purchase and the rest over the following six weeks.

Payment will be due at registration. If you are unable to make a payment and would prefer to volunteer to help cover the cost of your child, please reach out to Clay Major.

MULTIPLE PLAYER REGISTRATION

Parents/Guardians will be able to register multiple players with one transaction this year. If you need to register more than one player, please read the paragraph below.

Instructions:

To register multiple players, select the amount of players you would like to sign up in the next section. Once the number of players is selected, you will need to fill out the same amount of registration forms (one for each player). After filling out the forms, go to the "Registration Fee" section. In this section, click the "+" sign to select how many players you are paying for. Once the number of players are selected, click "Add to Bag", followed by "Next" to go to the payment screen.

NOTE: THE REGISTRATION FEES MUST MATCH THE AMOUNT OF PLAYERS YOU WISH TO REGISTER. PLAYERS WITHOUT A CORRESPONDING PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ASSIGNED TO A TEAM.
