Please read this agreement carefully before your session.

Steadfast Haven Estate LLC ("Steadfast Haven") is a private agricultural and equine property. Sessions may take place around horses, livestock, barns, fencing, gates, equipment, vehicles, uneven ground, insects, plants, and changing weather conditions.

While the horses at Steadfast Haven are trained and have 13+ years of experience with students and riders, I understand that horses are powerful animals with unpredictable behavior. They may react suddenly to people, movement, sounds, unfamiliar surroundings, other animals, fear, pain, or other circumstances.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume the inherent risks of equine activities and the other risks described in this Agreement, including risks that may be known or unknown.

WARNING

Under Tennessee Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, title 44, chapter 20.

The parties intend for all applicable protections and limitations of the Tennessee Equine Activities Liability Act to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Steadfast Haven may change, postpone, suspend, or terminate a session for safety, animal welfare, property protection, weather, environmental conditions, or other reasonable concerns.

Steadfast Haven may also terminate a session if a participant or accompanying person fails to follow instructions or engages in unsafe, disruptive, threatening, abusive, inappropriate, or unauthorized conduct.

I agree to immediately comply with instructions to stop an activity, leave an area, or leave the property.

If a session is terminated because of a participant's conduct or violation of the Agreement or property rules, no refund will be owed.

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, I release and agree not to hold liable Steadfast Haven Estate LLC and the owners, members, managers, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, photographers, and applicable property owners or operators identified in this Agreement for claims arising from my presence on the property or participation in the session, including claims arising from inherent risks of equine activities.

This release concerns bodily injury, illness, death, property damage, and other losses, subject to the limitations and exceptions imposed by applicable law.

A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign this Agreement for a participant under eighteen (18) years of age and is responsible for the minor's compliance with the safety instructions and property rules.

Minors must remain under appropriate adult supervision and may not approach or interact with horses without permission.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Agreement, understand the risks of being around horses and on an agricultural property, voluntarily assume those risks, and agree to follow all safety instructions and property rules provided by Steadfast Haven.
