The New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026-27 Mini-Grant Program beginning November 2, 2026. Now in its fourth year, the program provides fast, flexible funding to help New York wineries, grape growers, wine trails, and regional promotional entities act on high-impact marketing, education, and business development initiatives throughout the program year.
PLEASE NOTE: Grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted and must be used prior to MARCH 31, 2027. To qualify, funds must fall within the scope of use and all award recipients MUST complete a 2026 Mini Grant Evaluation Report due no later than APRIL 30, 2027. Recipients of past awards who did not complete a report are not eligible for this year's mini-grant program. Click here for more information.
Grant Amounts
- Grower or Winery – NYWGF Member
Eligible for up to $1,000 for either Promo or Educ/Bus Dev
- Grower or Winery – Non-Member
Eligible for up to $500 for either Promo or Educ/Bus Dev
- Wine Trail, Non-profit Entity in the New York Wine & Grape Industry
Eligible for up to $750 for either Promo or Educ/Bus Dev
Mini-grants will be provided through a simple process.

- Virtual or in-person promotional events
- Regional or winery specific marketing campaigns
- General marketing to support agrotourism in New York Sate
- Educational seminars or conferences
- Business consulting for strategic planning, succession planning, financial management, general business planning, marketing strategies
- Subcriptions to industry periodicals such as Cristaldi & Co., Wine Enthusiast, etc.
ONCE APPROVED, NYWGF WILL NOTIFY YOUR PRIMARY CONTACT AND DISBURSE THE FUNDS.
NYWGF will provide you with a template for reporting the outcome(s) of the funding by APRIL 30, 2027. Failure to complete this report may impact future funding decisions.
