You see that green "VCF Logo" above? It's time for us to have a new logo!! If you are a student in grades K-12 or attending College in Virginia, you are eligible to submit a design and compete to have your design become our next logo!

Here are the rules ...

1) ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. You must be a member of the Virginia Chess Federation to enter! (Join or renew your membership at www.vachess.org and select the "Join/Renew VA Chess" button on the left side of the webpage.)

2) The design must be yours, not Mom's, Dad's, Grandpa's, etc. We don't care if you use AI, but you should be the person using the AI to create the image.

3) The logo must be in color and have a "chess" theme. But be careful, your logo must be one that can be easily printed on shirts, hoodies and caps ... the more fancy your colors get, the more difficult it can be. You also must submit a black-and-white version of your logo.

4) Your logo must include the words "Virginia Chess Federation." You can add "VCF"  if you want (this is optional).

5) The Virginia Chess Federation was established in 1934, that also needs to be on the logo. In our current logo, "Est. 1934" appears below the words Virginia Chess Federation.

6) If you use a "state" background or outline, be sure it includes the Eastern Shore!!

7) ENTRY DEADLINE. All entries must be received by midnight on November 30, 2026.
