    2026 Trunk-or-Treat Volunteer Sign-Up Form

    Help Us Spread Halloween Cheer and Promote Voter Awareness!

    The Johnston County NAACP Branch #5408B is seeking volunteers to assist with two exciting community Trunk-or-Treat events!

    We will distribute candy to children and provide sample ballots and nonpartisan voter education materials to adults who request additional information.

    We have the candy, sample ballots, and voter information — all we need is your smiling face and a helping hand!

    We need four volunteers for each event, with two volunteers assigned to candy distribution and two assigned to voter information.


    EVENT 1: BENSON HALLOFEST
    Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
    Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
    Location: Downtown Benson, Main Street, Benson, NC
    Expected Attendance: More than 2,000 attendees
    Volunteer Opportunities:
    - Candy Distribution — 2 volunteer positions
    - Voter Education & Sample Ballot Distribution — 2 volunteer positions

    EVENT 2: SMITHFIELD TRUNK-OR-TREAT
    Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
    Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
    Location: Smithfield Community Park
    600 M. Durwood Stephenson Parkway, Smithfield, NC
    Volunteer Opportunities:

    - Voter Education & Sample Ballot Distribution — 2 volunteer positions
