Bella Ballerina Step Up for Students Program Addendum
This addendum outlines the additional terms for families using Step Up for Students scholarship funds at Bella Ballerina Orlando. These terms apply in addition to Bella Ballerina’s standard Waiver of Liability and Terms & Conditions, which all families must complete separately.
1. Payment Options
Families must choose one of the following payment methods:
Option 1: Direct EMA Allocation (Recommended)
Families allocate their scholarship funds directly through the Step Up for Students EMA platform to pay for eligible Bella Ballerina tuition and activities.
Option 2: Pay Bella Ballerina Directly and Request Reimbursement
Families pay their regular tuition directly to Bella Ballerina using their payment method on file, then submit a reimbursement request to Step Up for Students.
Families are responsible for managing their selected payment method and following all applicable Step Up for Students requirements.
2. Three-Month EMA Allocation Requirement
Families who choose direct EMA allocation must maintain at least three months of class tuition allocated in their EMA account at all times.
Because EMA payments and processing times may be delayed, this requirement helps provide a buffer and reduces the risk of missed or delayed payments.
Monthly-only allocations are not permitted. Allocating funds one month at a time does not provide sufficient time to accommodate potential processing or billing delays and may result in the backup payment method on file being charged.
3. Required Backup Payment Method
All families must maintain a valid payment method on file with Bella Ballerina.
For families using direct EMA allocation, the payment method serves as a backup if scholarship allocations are delayed, incomplete, or insufficient to cover the amount due.
For families paying Bella Ballerina directly, the payment method on file will be used for regular tuition payments.
Families are responsible for ensuring that tuition is paid in full and on time, regardless of their chosen payment method.
4. EMA Funds for Activities and Events
Families may choose to use their EMA scholarship funds for eligible Bella Ballerina activities and events in addition to regular dance classes, subject to Step Up for Students' eligibility rules and available funds.
Eligible activities may include camps, special events, and other activities offered by the studio.
To request the use of EMA funds for an additional activity or event, families must email orlando@bellaballerina.com in advance. Please include your dancer’s name and the activity or event you are interested in.
Not all activities, events, or fees may qualify for scholarship funding. Families are responsible for confirming eligibility under their scholarship program. Bella Ballerina cannot guarantee that Step Up for Students will approve a particular expense.
5. Discounts and Dance-All-Year Enrollment
The only discount available to Step Up for Students families using direct EMA allocations is the Dance-All-Year program discount, subject to the program’s eligibility requirements and terms.
Other promotions, discounts, or special offers may not be combined with direct EMA payments unless expressly authorized by Bella Ballerina.
6. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By participating in the Bella Ballerina Step Up for Students Program, families acknowledge that they have read and agree to the terms outlined in this addendum.
Families must also complete and agree to Bella Ballerina’s standard Waiver of Liability and Terms & Conditions.
Families are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable Step Up for Students scholarship requirements.
