Leadership Position: AHEPPP Awards Committee
Reports to: AHEPPP Awards Committee Chair
Length of Term: January 2027-December 2027
Time commitment: 2-5 hours per week, varies
Description: Awards Committee members support the annual awards process from nomination to recognition. You’ll work collaboratively to recruit nominations, review applications, select recipients, and coordinate award presentations at the 2027 National Conference..
Responsibilities:
- Promote award nominations to AHEPPP members
- Help recruit and coordinate award reviewers
- Participate in the review and selection of recipients
- Assist with award notifications and recognition efforts
- Collaborate with the Conference Planning Committee to implement award presentations
Desired qualifications:
- Current member of association with at least two years of experience engaging with parents and families at the collegiate level
- Strong organizational, assessment, and marketing skills
- Relational, collaborative, dependable, and responsive
