• You are cordially invited to join community leaders, veterans, educators, supporters, and the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the United States for a special ceremony announcing the Sergeant Michael Strank Legacy Project. This new initiative is dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of Sergeant Michael Strank and honoring the countless men and women who have served in our nation’s military.

  • The event will commemorate Michael Strank’s 107th birthday and celebrate the 251st Birthday of the US Marine Corps. The Sergeant Michael Strank Legacy Project was established to perpetuate the memory, service, sacrifice, and leadership of Michael Strank while honoring all veterans who served our country. Beginning in 2027, the project will provide educational programs into classrooms, and establish the Michael Strank Fellows Scholarship to inspire future generations to learn from those who answered the call to serve.
