Membership Fees & Obligations
Annual Membership Dues: Family membership dues for the 2026 season are $625. New members joining after May 1 are eligible for prorated dues based on when their membership begins.

Workday Requirement: Members are expected to participate in a club workday. A $100 workday fee applies if the requirement is not fulfilled.

Late Payment Fee: A 15% late fee applies to existing members who do not pay their annual membership dues by May 1. This late fee does not apply to new membership applicants.

Annual Financial Responsibility: Membership dues and applicable fees must be paid each year, regardless of whether the member uses the club facilities.

Stock Ownership: Family memberships are stockholding memberships. Both applicants, when applicable, are listed on the stock certificate.

Membership Transfers: Memberships are transferable, but the new member must submit an application and receive Board approval before the transfer is completed. Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club is not responsible for private financial arrangements between buyers and sellers.

Membership Approval: All applications are subject to approval by the Dorchester Board of Directors. Membership privileges do not begin until approval has been granted and all applicable fees and dues have been paid.

I/we understand that this application is subject to the Bylaws and Rules & Regulations of Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club.

I/we understand that submitting an application does not guarantee membership. All applications require approval by the Board of Directors, and membership privileges will not begin until approval has been granted, the applicant has been notified, and all applicable dues and fees have been paid.

If approved, I/we agree to abide by the Club's current Bylaws and Rules & Regulations, including any amendments adopted in the future.

Application Deposit – $25

A $25 application deposit is required for all new membership applications. This deposit must be received before your application can be submitted to the Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club Board of Directors for approval.

The deposit is refundable if your application is not approved.

Payment Instructions

Alternatively, the $25 application deposit may be delivered in person by arranging a convenient time with a Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club representative. Please contact the club to coordinate payment.

Important: You may submit this online application before making your payment. However, your application will remain pending until the $25 deposit has been received. Once payment is received and the application is complete, it can proceed to Board review.
