The Lincoln City Fellowship Santa Fe Residency is designed for artists craving pause, reflection, play, rest, and deep connection with nature and one another in the high desert landscape of New Mexico.
Rather than centering the development of a particular project, Santa Fe invites artists to step away from familiar rhythms and create space for curiosity, experimentation, creative renewal, and whatever may be asking for their attention.
Part I | Virtual Residency (January - April, 2027)
The cohort first gathers virtually for touchpoints in January and February, creating an early opportunity to connect with the people with whom they’ll eventually share the retreat.
Beginning the week of March 15, the cohort meets for six weekly one-hour virtual sessions designed to deepen those relationships, share creative inspirations and curiosities, and prepare for the experience ahead.
Part II | In-Person Retreat (April 26 - May 1, 2027)
Once in Santa Fe, days unfold through a combination of shared creative experiences and unhurried time.
Mornings begin with My Scripted Story™, an immersive exploration of imagination, perception, and human character. Afternoons invite encounters with local artists, guides, horses, land, and other forms of creative exploration.
Between sessions, there is time to wander, rest, hike, soak, journal, make something, make nothing, and follow what emerges.
The retreat is hosted at Rancho Gallina, Inn and Eco-Retreat Center, with experiences curated in collaboration with the Nomadic School of Wonder.
The retreat includes:
- private accommodations
- all meals
- facilitated creative experiences
- a $1,500 stipend to support travel, incidentals, and participation
Due to the intimate nature of this retreat, this artist cohort is limited to 6 artists.
Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 30.
