Membership Fees & Obligations
Social Membership – Fees & Obligations

Annual dues for a Social Membership are $825 for the 2026 season. Social Membership provides access to the club's facilities and amenities in accordance with the club's bylaws and Rules & Regulations.

Unlike other membership categories, Social Members are not required to purchase club stock, participate in the annual workday, or pay the $100 workday fee. Social Members do not have voting rights in club elections or membership matters.

Existing members who have not paid their annual dues by May 1 are subject to a 15% late fee. New members joining after May 1 are eligible for prorated dues and are not assessed the late fee for joining after that date.

Membership is subject to verification of two current member sponsors and approval by the Board of Directors. Applicants must also submit a $25 refundable application deposit before their application can be forwarded to the Board for consideration. The deposit will be refunded if the application is not approved.

All members agree to comply with the club's bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and applicable financial obligations.

I/we understand that this application is subject to the Bylaws and Rules & Regulations of Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club.

I/we understand that submitting an application does not guarantee membership. All applications require approval by the Board of Directors, and membership privileges will not begin until approval has been granted, the applicant has been notified, and all applicable dues and fees have been paid.

If approved, I/we agree to abide by the Club's current Bylaws and Rules & Regulations, including any amendments adopted in the future.

Application Deposit – $25

A $25 application deposit is required for all new membership applications. This deposit must be received before your application can be submitted to the Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club Board of Directors for approval.

The deposit is refundable if your application is not approved.

Alternatively, the $25 application deposit may be delivered in person by arranging a convenient time with a Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club representative. Please contact the club to coordinate payment.

Important: You may submit this online application before making your payment. However, your application will remain pending until the $25 deposit has been received. Once payment is received and the application is complete, it can proceed to Board review.
