Join FHI 360, New Ways to Work, and the California Opportunity Youth Network (COYN) for a second free information session on Wednesday, December 2nd from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (PT) to learn about the California Youth Development Practitioner (YDP) Apprenticeship Cohort.
Launching in January 2027, this statewide, no-cost program helps youth-serving organizations strengthen staff skills, improve retention, and build clear career pathways for frontline professionals in youth development, case management, outreach, alternative education, after-school programs, reentry, workforce development, and other direct-service roles. Over about nine months, apprentices complete 165 hours of related technical instruction and 1,000–2,000 hours of work-based learning, and participating employers receive a $2,300 incentive for signing up.
Register below to save your spot and see how the YDP Apprenticeship can support your team.
