A signed agreement and booking retainer equal to 50% of the total booking cost are required to reserve your event date. Your booking is confirmed when Haitian Soul Events provides written confirmation after receiving both. The retainer compensates Haitian Soul Events for reserving your date and committing availability to your event. It is credited toward your total invoice and becomes nonrefundable upon written booking confirmation if you cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The remaining balance is due seven calendar days before your event. Bookings confirmed within seven days require full payment. Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing. Rescheduling requires availability and written approval; the retainer transfers only with that approval. Any additional payments will be refunded less documented, nonrecoverable event expenses and services already performed, without deducting the same loss twice. If Haitian Soul Events cancels and no replacement date is mutually agreed upon, all payments for the canceled booking, including the retainer, will be refunded. Nothing in this agreement limits rights provided by applicable law.
