The Rite of the Three Houses | Seidirwood Sanctuary
โง WELCOME TO SEIDIRWOOD SANCTUARY โง
Three founding Houses. Three distinct paths. One Sanctuary.
Beyond these doors lies a community built around pagan spirituality, history, curiosity, kinship, and respect. Seidirwood Sanctuary brings together people whose paths are different but whose commitment to learning and looking after one another is shared.

WHY ARE YOU TAKING THIS ASSESSMENT?
The Rite of the Three Houses is our thoughtful House-placement assessment. Your answers help our High Council understand what genuinely interests you, how you approach difficult questions, what values matter to you, and what kind of community you hope to help build. It is not a competition, an exam, or a test of how 'pagan' you are. Newcomers and experienced practitioners are equally welcome. We ask you to answer sincerely, not to pick whichever House sounds most impressive.

THE THREE FOUNDING HOUSES
๐ค HOUSE OBSIDIAN: The Keepers of the Hidden. Occult history, ceremonial traditions, the paranormal, spirit lore, ancient mysteries, responsible inquiry, and hidden knowledge.
๐บ HOUSE IRONWOLF: The Ancestral Path. Norse paganism, ancestry, honour, loyalty, courage, kinship, and preserving old traditions.
๐ HOUSE NIGHTWARD: The Mystic Path. Celtic paganism, witchcraft, the natural world, divination, celestial cycles, intuition, and sacred symbolism.
Every House is equal. House placement reflects affinity, not superiority, seniority, or personal worth. You do not need to follow a specific god or goddess or share every member's beliefs.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
You will answer 35 substantive questions, including choices and your own written reflections. The High Council will review your responses alongside your personal House preference. Placement is considered with you, not imposed by a machine or a number. Completing the form does not automatically grant full membership.

OUR PROMISE TO EACH OTHER
We value respect, personal responsibility, honesty, consent, curiosity, confidentiality in clan matters, and the freedom to disagree without cruelty. No one must disclose private spiritual experiences to deserve respect.
When you're ready, enter the Hall of the Three Houses. Let your answers speak for themselves.
โง THE SANCTUARY COVENANT โง
Seidirwood Sanctuary is a shared home for three equal founding Houses. We are connected by history, spiritual curiosity, kinship, learning, and mutual respect, not by identical beliefs. โข Respect every House and every member; there is no superior House. โข Follow your own pagan or spiritual path without pressuring anyone else to share it. โข Listen before judging, disagree without cruelty, and take responsibility for your conduct. โข Keep private clan business and another member's personal disclosures confidential. โข Ask permission before sharing photos, stories, or sensitive experiences. โข Explore historical and paranormal locations safely, legally, and with respect for land, heritage, and other people. โข You do not need to prove supernatural claims, and you may ask thoughtful questions. Our community includes people from different backgrounds and levels of experience. Your place here is built through participation, trust, and respect.
WITHIN THE SANCTUARY Possibilities include heritage and folklore discussions, Norse ancestral study, Celtic seasonal and nature practices, occult history and paranormal investigation, creativity, photography, shared learning, and friendship.
