CHILD PROTECTION PLAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Freedom International Christian Training Center is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of all children, youth, and vulnerable individuals participating in our programs. The Church has established a Child Protection Plan (CPP) to provide a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all participants, staff members, and volunteers.
By volunteering at FCY Winter Camp 2026, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Receipt and Understanding
I acknowledge that I have received or been provided access to the Church's Child Protection Plan (CPP), which outlines the policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding child safety, appropriate conduct, and abuse prevention. I agree to read, understand, and comply with these policies.
2. Reporting Suspected Abuse
I understand that, under Church policy, all volunteers are required to promptly report any known or reasonably suspected child abuse or neglect, regardless of whether they are classified as mandated reporters under California law.
I understand that any legally required report must be made directly to the appropriate authorities in accordance with California's Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (Penal Code §§ 11164–11174.3). Reporting concerns to Church leadership does not replace any legal reporting obligation.
3. Compliance with Church Policies
I agree to follow all child protection policies, safety procedures, and instructions established by Freedom International Christian Training Center. I understand that failure to comply with these policies may result in my removal from volunteer duties.
4. Policy Updates
I understand that the Church may revise or update its Child Protection Plan. I agree to review and comply with any updated policies communicated to me during my volunteer service.
5. Questions and Concerns
I understand that I should consult with the Church's Human Resources Department and/or Youth Ministry Leadership if I have any questions or concerns regarding the Child Protection Plan, its policies, procedures, or my responsibilities as a volunteer.
6. Acknowledgment and Agreement
I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, have read and understood this acknowledgment, and agree to comply with the Church's Child Protection Plan throughout my volunteer service.
